The Department of Hotel Culinary Arts produces professional chefs to serve for national industries; to create and develop recipes byadapting international traditional cuisines;and to contribute to people's health and wellbeing. Graduates can work as professional cooks for hotels, restaurants, catering services, and school or company cafeterias in Korea and abroad. In order to produce globally competent professionals, therefore, the department tries to connect education-training-employment through international cooperative networks and embeds courses of hands on cooking lab, management, and foreign language proficiencyin the curriculum.

Educational Goals

Our goal is to produce the highly trained professionals, equipped with a solid understanding of theory and excellent practical skills, which are required by the tourism industry to provide top class culinary services to hotels, restaurants and banquet and catering businesses.
