CHU’s overseas employment rate ranked at the TOP among all colleges in Korea for 2 years in a row

 

□ Cheju Halla University (president: Kim, Sung-Hun, Ph.D.) sent 70 students for overseas employment this year and placed it at the top among all colleges in Korea.

According to information disclosure data by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology on June 1st, the number of overseas employment students of CHU recorded 70 in 2012 which is highest in Korea.

 

So far, CHU sent 14 students in 2010, 35 in 2011, 71 in 2012 for overseas employment and the countries has become diverse including Japan, Australia and Dubai.

The background reason of the highest overseas employment student number is the establishment of overseas employment support center in 2009 which takes all responsibilities regarding production of global human resources who are required by overseas companies and has professional knowledge and ability responding to the trend of internationalization and specialization.

 

 

In addition, CHU is selected for GE4U(Global Employment For You) project this year which is supported by Human Resources Development Service of Korea and Jeju Special Self-government Province, one of the most representative overseas employment projects in Korea and for overseas company liaison training leading college fostering project which is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and Jeju Special Self-government Province. As a result, CHU is currently training 100 students for overseas employment in several countries such as Australia, Japan, China, and Middle East.

 

CHU’s Overseas Employment Support Center is planning to provide overseas employment chance to students in various countries regarding their major by operating standardized global training and utilizing accumulated global academic-industry network and knowhow for over 100 students each year.
