CHUs Library received Koreanstudies Information Service System Superior Organization award
Cheju Halla Universitys (president: Kim, Sung-Hun, Ph.D.) Library (Director: Ko, Jae-Moon) received Koreanstudies Information Service System Superior Organization award at the 11th Koreanstudies Information Service System regular meeting which was hosted by the National Assembly Library for its achievement in library information sharing and cooperative network area.

CHUs library received Koreanstudies Information Service System Superior Organization award in November 14th at the 11th Koreanstudies Information Service System regular meeting which was hosted by the National Assembly Library in order to evaluate achievements in this year and CHUs library was acknowledged for its cooperation in sharing library information and constructing network area.
The Koreanstudies Information Service System Association(Chairperson: Whang, Chang-Ha; Director of the National Assembly Library) is trying to activate academic information sharing and utilization in the National Assembly Library and CHUs library was acknowledged for its contribution for original text sharing result which is the main project, and participation (digital library using result, meeting attendance).
Currently at CHUs Library, students can search library data using ODIS-U (academic information system) through PC, and Mobile and use various library service through its homepage. In addition, it has useful facilities for students worth to be called as superior university library such as digital information room, opened material room, free reading room, local material room, reference material room, and archive. It also provides superior service for academic research and education by constructing domestic & international journal database, university publication, and interlibrary loan system to perform its role as a heart of a university.
CHUs library is planning to do its best to provide knowledge resources effectively to help professors, students and community people so that they can create knowledge and do their study. It will be changed into virtual library and learning support center to respond 21st century knowledge base society by providing integrated academic information search service, tailored academic information providing service, virtual bookshelves, and internet based services for university members and community people.
