CHU Hosts the 13th Annual New Students Welcoming Concert
- CHU's 13th annual New Students Welcoming Concert was held at the Halla Art Hall on March 28, 2014. The performances were entitled "Halla Drumming Sounds" and "Opera Aria Concert". - The "Halla Drumming Sounds" performance is a regular feature at the New Students Welcoming Concert and the annual Halla Festival. The theme of the performance is the horse which symbolizes the university, and reflects the enthusiasm that students have for their future.
- The "Opera Aria Concert" includes an interpretive section and introduces the audience to ways of better appreciating the opera.
- President of CHU, Kim Sung-hun, said in his welcoming speech that "university students must not only cultivate their skills and gain expert knowledge, but also develop their inner selves", and that the opera would likely become another symbol of the university.
