On January 15, representatives of CHU visited Switzerland and signed an MOU with SSTH, a member of the EHL Group, EHL (Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne), and the Swiss Hotel Association. In order to contribute to the development of tourism education in Jeju by producing the finest human resources for the tourism industry, CHU signed the MOU with the three organizations. The Swiss Hotel Association was formed in1982 and has 2020 member hotels. There are a total of 3120 members including hotel management education institutions. CHU signed an MOU with SSTH in 2010 to offer a dual degree program. Students in the Division of International Tourism Hotels at CHU can study in Switzerland through the program, run in conjunction with the EHL Group. The MOUs contribute to CHU's ability to produce graduates whose training meets international standards of quality and who will become part of the human resources required for the globalizing tourism industry.
