On June 25, 2015, CHU's Confucius Institute and Jeju National University's Affiliated High School signed an MOU related to the cooperative operation of a Chinese language and culture training program.  The goal of the MOU is to produce a supportive system for the establishment of a jointly operated Chinese culture and language training program, and also includes measures to provide support to JNU's Affiliated High School Chinese Club and various other clubs and events, in addition to funding the operation of an invitational Chinese language training program and Chinese culture experience event, among other things. Thanks to the signing of this agreement, there will be a marked increase and improvement in the quality and range of Chinese language and cultural offerings in Jeju, and the province will see greater promotion of Chinese language training.
