Business Incubation Center (Director: Kyoung-tae Kim) of Cheju Halla University won ‘2015 Techshop Support Project’ run by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) and it came to be the only university who obtained the authority in Jeju.

  SMBA announced their Techshop Support Project to promote manufacturing business startup. It selected some universities with business incubation centers where they would build Techshop with 3D printing equipment and train how to utilize it. Cheju Halla University is the only chosen authority in Jeju (won support fund of W170,000,000) and has consolidated its position as a local stronghold university for student startup support and 3D printing curriculum.

  SMBA evaluated candidate universities based on their application document, site visiting, and presentation.

  Cheju Halla will constantly pursue its specialty on student startup incubating, technical supporting for manufacturers, and 3D printing.
