CHU (President: Kim, Seong – Hun) held the 47^th anniversary (March 31) ceremony in Keumhogwan on March 30, 2016 at 5:00 PM with all faculty and staff members.

Founded in 1969, as Cheju Nursing College, CHU has been continuously developing and finally it marks its 46^th anniversary on March 31, 2016. Though laid in turmoil of rapidly changing educational environment, CHU was named World Class College. In return for the title, it dispatched many students to work overseas and attracted many international students. It also successfully implemented government funded projects such as government certified training institute for equine experts. CHU has well established its position as specialized college.

President Kim, Seong-Hun said in the opening remarks, ¡°I thank faculty and staff members for your devotion in structural challenges that limitless competition brings us. Let¡¯s overcome them and seize the opportunities to develop, so that we can realize our vision.¡±

In the ceremony, outstanding CHU staff members and a professor with the best lecture evaluation were awarded.
