CHU (President: Kim, Seong – Hun) hosted the 13th International Symposium on Culture and Tourism of Jeju Free International City at Convention Hall A, Halla Convention Center on campus on April 15-16.

The symposium invited professor Jung, Chul from Division of Tourism at Hanyang University, professor Jung, Yunse from Department of International Trade at College of Business and Economics, Dankook University and professor Kim, Bongjin from Ehwa School of Business and their lectures covered 3 broad themes of first, tourism, second, international free trade, investment, and legislation, and third, international management and relations.

As a leading local university of Jeju Free International City, CHU has provided the symposium for 13 years as one of its academic exchanges that serve the local community to establish its foundation. In the symposium, they analyze various conditions that Jeju needs in order to become a Free International City, propose the vision and plans, and promote Jeju.
