Department of Early Childhood Education (Dean: Won, Kyesun) at CHU (President: Kim, Seong – Hun) held a welcoming ceremony for ¡°the 3^rd Children Electrical-Safety Supporters¡± on April 26 2016.

¡°Children Electrical-Safety Supporters¡± is a program that Korea Electrical Safety Corporation and early childhood majors at local university cooperate to improve children¡¯s understanding electricity and help them to protect themselves from any harm. The student supporters visit local child care centers and give free sessions on electrical safety to children. For this job, they should complete a course for electrical safety educators. The specific duties include circle time, behavior activities, puppet shows that remind children of electrical safety.

Department of Early Childhood Education at CHU has cooperated with KESCO in Jeju since 2014, and the 3^rd supporter team will work for 9 months from April to December 2016.
