Construction of the Keumho Global Education Center is scheduled to be completed in August, 2013, when it will become not only Jeju’s but also Asia’s leading culture and education complex with tourism training facilities.

The Center will have six floors aboveground and one below, and will have a total area of 25,110㎡㎡, the largest in Jeju Province, facilities will include education and research facilities for the School of Tourism along with classrooms, a Foreign Language Education Center, seminar rooms, a cafeteria, restaurants and hotel rooms.

The Center is going to be used to train expert human resources for Jeju’s strategic industries in its high-tech educational environment, and government-academy-industry partnerships with various institutions will help Cheju Halla University achieve its goal of becoming “Asia’s Best College for Employment Focused Education”.

A global educational environment will be built, confident in terms of hardware and software at the same time, where students can grow into a global professional work force. They will be able to work immediately with industry and technology expertise, as well as with international competitive power.
