The Department of Tourism Japanese Language trains competent Japanese professionals who are fluent in Japanese through short-term intensive Japanese conversation interpreter training, and have specialized knowledge and culture in a wide range of tourism-related fields ranging from Japanese history, geography, culture and customs. It operates a curriculum that focuses on real life in Japan to improve on-site training, and lectures in Japanese are actively conducted by native Japanese speaking professors. In addition, intensive education is systematically provided for various exam preparations and transfer admissions, such as JLPT, JPT, international Japanese guides and tour interpreter guides.
