Bachelor of Nursing (Dual degree program: 2 years at CHU + 2 years at Newcastle)

  • Students who are enrolled in the English Track Bachelor of Nursing Program at Cheju Halla University may be offered the opportunity to transfer their credits to the Bachelor of Nursing Program at the University of Newcastle, Australia. The credit transfer is subject to the following conditions :
    1. Successful completion of 2 years of the BN Program (English Track BN) at Cheju Halla University
    2. English language proficiency of IELTS 7.0 (or equivalent) with no score below 6.5 within the last 2 years
    3. Acquisition of a 'Student Visa' to study in Australia
    4. Submission of all verification requirements and qualified to attend clinical placements in New South Wales health care facilities.
  • Subject to the approval of the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Accreditation Council, students from the English Track Bachelor of Nursing Program at Cheju Halla University who have successfully completed 2 years of the Bachelor of Nursing Program at the University of Newcastle will be awarded a 'Bachelor of Nursing, University of Newcastle' degree and be eligible to apply for general registration as a nurse in Australia.

  • This program provides instruction in both theory and practice, allowing students to develop the clinical competencies required to work as a registered nurse around the globe.

  • This degree combines theory, nursing laboratory skills, clinical simulation and clinical practice to ensure students are work-ready at graduation. Students will have the opportunity to undertake over 800 hours of clinical practice in a range of healthcare settings.
