Discover the possibilities and joys of horse riding, find employment in a new area of the leisure industry

The average national income has reached $30,000, and there is a corresponding increasing demand for a wider variety of various leisure activities, including horse riding and horse racing. The Department of Equine Science is fostering the equine experts needed by the equine leisure industry, providing both instruction and theory and customized on-site training. Students learn about equine science, horsemanship and horse riding instruction, and receive hands-on training opportunities at horseback riding ranches and horse racing tracks in Jeju. Our curriculum offers intensive on-site training and is focused on providing the knowledge and skills required to gain employment in one of the many equine industries. Joint training programs (regular industry onsite training), and internship programs for horse riding (at our school ranch and other places) are greatly beneficial for preparing students to enter the workplace upon graduation. Our graduates find employment in a variety of domestic and overseas professions in horse related industries
